Steve Taylor
Steve was born in Barrow in Furness and spent his teenage years escaping to the Lake District fells whenever he could! This passion continued with a career in the outdoor education after studying to be a teacher. Steve enjoys travelling and endeavours to bring something of the outdoor dynamic into his drawing and painting. He loves to draw and paint animals.

Caroline Taylor

Caroline is a retired secondary science teacher who lived most of her life in California. For 30+ years she taught science to 12-16 year olds. She has a BS in Biology, a Masters in Art in Education, and a Practical Horticulture Certification from the RHS. She gardens for Ghyll House, for friends in the village, and for The Dalemain Historic Home and Garden. She likes the outdoors, art, music, travel, good food, and is an avid reader. She’ll make the teas and the lunches when you are here. 

Meg

Meg is our 4 year-old border collie. She likes long walks, playing, hunting for mice, and tracking ducks. She likes people and has boundless energy. She keeps us fit!
